Day-of-registration opens on Sunday, Sept 25 at 8am before the race starts at 10am.

Runners will begin their quest for Alpine Climb 5K Glory at the intersection of 35th Street and Phinney Ave N. Once the shot is fired, it’s off and going down Phinney and onto Northlake Way, then into Gasworks Park where runners will be faced with a mountain of a hill to go up and over before turning onto the Burke Gilman Trail. (Don’t worry – you can skip all the switchbacks and truly test your mountaineering skills by heading straight up the hill to get a jump on the finish line beer). Runners will have the scenic Fremont Ship Canal whiz past them as they finish on Phinney Ave N and make their way into the Finish Line Beer Garden, next to the Fremont Oktoberfest entrance (admission required, all ages welcome on Sunday, Sept. 25).

Did we mention that the finish line ends in the Finish Line Beer Garden? After 3.1 miles, we think that you deserve a beer. The best part? Your race admission includes one free beer redeemable in the Finish Line Beer Garden. Prost! (For runners 21+ of course – don’t forget your ID!)
